Robert Tyner's Search For A Myth ran down front-running Agirlcalledchloe to win the first division of the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Handicap Chase at Tipperary.
Agirlcalledchloe gave it a good go over the extended 2m3f, but Phillip Enright rode a fine waiting race on Search For A Myth who closed at the final fence.
The 15/8 favourite overwhelmed Agirlcalledchloe in the closing stages and went on by two and a-half lengths. The runner-up went off at 16/1 and was four and three-quarter lengths clear of fellow 16/1 chance Chainofconsequence
Search For A Myth was following up on a Wexford handicap hurdle success at the end of May.
Frank Berry, racing manager for owner JP McManus, said: "She was frustrating last year, but maybe it is standing to her this year as she might be a bit stronger and is settling better - that's the main thing. You have to ride her out the back to get her settled, but she is doing it easier this year.
"She got a lovely ride and if you had got it wrong (racing behind a clear leader), it would have been no fault of your own as the race just happened like that. It is grand to get it and we'll duck and dive on good ground for the rest of the summer.
"She is a grand one to have for the summer."
