Fairyhill Run soars over the last

Fairyhill Run (4/1jf) brought up her hat-trick with a sparkling display in the Kilbeggan Handicap Chase over three miles one furlong.
Bryan Cooper pushed her into the lead four out and the mare travelled kindly for him. A nimble jump three out saw her rivals come off the bridle in behind. Not Available was the only horse able to go with her to the second last, but was untidy in jumping it and Fairyhill Run opened up a gap on him.
Cooper could soon afford a look over his shoulder and then another one before the last as his partner drew clear.
She put in a big and bold leap at the last and completed her hat-trick in emphatic fashion by an eased down six lengths. Not Available kept on for second at 7/1 and was a length and three parts in front of 10/1 chance Filon D'Oudairies.
“She is what we know she is — a lovely mare,” said trainer John Ryan.
“We'll be looking to better things with her, whether she goes for a graded race or maybe the Kerry National. We also have Waitnsee going for that race and they are two lovely mares to have.
“I don't know what she'll be rated after today but she's a proper mare. She'll probably go for a graded race.”
She started her winning spree in a hurdle race at Tipperary in July before following up by a wide margin in a handicap chase at Limerick the same month.
Ryan and Cooper also successfully teamed up with Presenting Bonnie in the extended two and a quarter mile handicap hurdle.
