Siobhan Rutledge was another to double up at Dundalk tonight when lunging late on Dutch Glory to land the spoils in the first division of the seven furlong handicap. The Cola Brasil came to lead over a furlong from home and looked set to score inside the final furlong but was nailed on the line.

Rutledge got a good tune from the Ross O'Sullivan-trained filly as she timed it to perfection to secure a head victory at odds of 14/1.

Dutch Glory, a daughter of Cotai Glory, had been knocking on the door in her previous starts and was scoring at the seventh attempt.

The winning rider said: "She did her best there. She was courageous when she needed to be.

"She came off the bridle fairly early. She had been running a bit keen previously and they put earplugs in for the first time today and they made the world of difference. She relaxed and she had it then when she needed it.

"It worked out for the best that there was a good gallop on because it helped me settle and helped me finish as well."

Rutledge had also scored on Aces Wild in the sprint maiden on the card.
