Rosie Alice followed up on her Tramore victory with a four-length success in Limerick's rated novice hurdle.

She tracked Eiri Na Casca in second of the four runners before travelling well to take over jumping the second last in this two mile race.

Once over, she was ridden with hands and heels by Phillip Enright to go on and win her race. She popped the last a couple of lengths up on O'Donoghue's Opera and bounded away to increase the margin.

Phillip Enright said: "She had form on that ground and she probably handled the ground better than the favourite."

The winner was 5/4 while Eiri Na Casca stayed on to beat O'Donoghue's Opera by three parts of a length for second.

The 4/6 favourite, Show Court was 15 lengths further back in last.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Show Court, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly and didn't appreciate today's testing going.

This gave Enright a first and last-race Limerick double as he took the opener on Positive Approach
