There is a quality seven race card at Dundalk this evening highlighted by two Listed races and trainer Ger Lyons is hoping for a bold show with his runners in both feature events.

The master of Glenburnie Stables has saddled four of the last five winners of the Irish Stallions Farms EBF Legacy Stakes and he bids to further embellish a great record in the five-furlong event with Revoke

The Juddmonte homebred daughter of Blue Point created a big impression when scoring by nearly five lengths on debut at Naas and looks set to go off favourite.

“She’s a nice filly but had a bit of ringworm after the race which bottomed her a little bit. We gave her a lovely break and I’m looking forward to running her,” Lyons told Racing TV.

“She’s drawn 13 of 14 but I don’t worry about draws with Colin (Keane).” Powerful Nation looks one of the chief threats having won two of his four starts including over course and distance last month and trainer Andy Slattery gave an upbeat bulletin on his charge.

"I think if he gets a bit of luck-in-running and everything goes right, he's a very good horse. I think he is better than that (100 rating),” said the Killenaule trainer.

"It is a decent race, but he won snug (over course and distance). He was Listed placed in Tipperary when he lost his action 50 yards from the line.

"I wouldn't swap him for anyone else anyway.

"I’d imagine that would be it (for the season) unless someone wants to pay for us to go to the Breeders' Cup! There's nothing coming up for him, I think." Arizona Blaze carries a 5lb penalty having won the Group 3 GAIN Marble Hill Stakes back in May while Richard Hughes sends over Sayidah Dariyan following a 13 lengths success at Lingfield.

The Lyons-trained Beckman who won on debut at the Curragh on Irish Derby weekend and was second last time in the Listed Churchill Stakes at Tipperary, faces eight rivals in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Star Appeal Stakes.

“I was the most surprised person to see him win at the Curragh and then he ran a blinder in Tipperary.

“He’s as forward as he’s been all year and it’s an ideal race for him. If he gets Listed placed again that’s what I would expect.” Bernard Shaw a wide margin winner on the Polytrack before a creditable third to Green Impact in a Group 2 at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend, heads the market at around 11/8.
