Ravished followed-up on his recent win at Kilbeggan as he took the feature at Killarney this evening, the McSweeney Arms Hotel Killarney National Handicap Chase.
Sent off the 5/2 favourite the Mouse Morris trained gelding was prominent for much of the contest and he improved to lead after the fourth last.
He was challenged on either side, by Leavethelighton and Federici from the third last but he pulled out more on the run-in to score by half a length under Bryan Cooper.
Federici (4/1 to 7/2 on-course) finished second under Nina Carberry for Enda Bolger while Leavethelighton (9/1) was a further three lengths back in third under Mikey Butler for Eoin Doyle. Your Busy who won this race last year, finished eighteen lengths back in fourth under Ruby Walsh for James Nash.
Mouse Morris said afterwards: "He is a super jumper and his jumping kept him in the race.
"He goes on that ground and I'll speak with his owners (Gigginstown House Stud) but he will probably go for the Midlands National at Kilbeggan next."
