A J P McManus-owned and Eddie Harty-trained unexposed four-year-old down the bottom of the weights was always likely to catch the eye of punters and the 3/1 favourite got the job done under 'Slippers' Madden in the Faber Audiovisuals Handicap Hurdle.
A Tippeary maiden hurdle winner in June, and fourth in the Lartigue at the Listowel Festival last month, Copy That took it off the front running Smiler at the last.
The Milan gelding then held off Rocky Court Mrs Mac Veale and Lilly The Lioness by half a length, a length and a half, and three lengths.
"He was getting all the allowances being a four year old and also was at the bottom of the handicap," remarked Harty.
"It was nice to get it and he's a nice four year old having just his fourth ever run.
"He's learning all the time and we'll see where we go next but he'll probably run on soft ground next - it's been so far so good at present."
