Tipperary trainer Aidan Fogarty recorded his second track success as his Lucky Pigeon (first track success) made all to take the Pat Doyle Memorial Handicap Hurdle under Mark Walsh.
The seven-year-old mare finished second to Close One (who re-opposed today) on her last start at Roscommon and she was sent off a 7/1 chance to go one place better this evening.
She was ridden after the third last and kept up the gallop, going on to score by fourth lengths.
Recent Tramore winner Cut The Corner (9/2) finished second for the double seeking duo of Adrian Heskin for Michael Hourigan junior while Roadtotheisland (8/1) was a further two lengths back in third under Danny Mullins for Martin Cullinane.
The John Joe Walsh trained Wontbelongnow (16/1) completed the placings another two lengths back in fourth while the well-backed favourite (4's into 11/4) Close One could only manage sixth for Charlie Swan and David Casey.
Joe Fogarty (who formerly trained himself), father of the trainer and winning owner, said afterwards: "It was a long time coming and she deserved that.
"It was a game effort and that seems to be the way to ride her. She stays all day.
"We will keep her going in handicap hurdles. We have her sire (Portrait Gallery) at home but he has been infertile this year and last year and we keep him as a pet now."
