Pedestal overcame greenness to open his account at the second time of asking in the opening five-furlong maiden at Tipperary.
Seamus Heffernan had the son of Invincible Spirit to the fore throughout and, despite drifting left and carrying his head high, he asserted inside the final furlong.
The Ballydoyle colt, sent off the 9/4 favourite, was well on top at the line to record a length-and-three-quarter success over Mayleaf Shine
Pedestal had been fifth on his debut behind Van Der Decken, over six furlongs, at the Curragh just four days ago.
"We (Ballydoyle) wouldn't have had many Invincible Spirits over the years but he is a nice horse and came on from the experience at the Curragh the last day,” said Joseph O'Brien.
"He was a bit green and was doing a bit of whinnying when he came back in which would suggest he'd be better with more racing.
"He's a big horse and there's more to come and he will get seven furlongs too - it was his class that got him through (over five) today."
The sixth placed Youarewonder was disqualified as rider Gary Halpin failed to weigh in.
