Division two of The Fairyhouse Membership Maiden Hurdle was won by the Jessie Harrington trained Pebble Reach ridden by Andrew Leigh and owned by the Star Syndicate.

Harrington said afterwards, "She is a well bred filly out of a half sister to Nowhere and Hide The Evidence. I thought the ground was too soft for her the last day and she'll be better on the better ground. We'll probably go down the handicapping route with her next, she is too lowly rated to get into a flat race at Dundalk."
