Sinead O’Sullivan, who trains near Clonakilty in west Cork, sent out her second winner under rules when All The Way Home took the 2m3f handicap hurdle in good style.
Paul Townend brought the seven-year-old grey mare from off the pace to strike the front at the penultimate flight, and the 13/2 chance flew the final hurdle before going on to beat Supreme Bob (16/1) by two and a quarter lengths. Special Token (13/2) completed the placings a further two lengths back in third.
Paul Moloney, representing Ms O’Sullivan, said, “That is Sinead’s second winner on the track as Shotavodka won before for her at Tramore and amazingly both are by Alderbrook.
“She was unlucky in Tramore (mistake at the last) and should have won. Paul said she hated the ground but not too many go on that ground anyway. She’ll try and win another handicap.”
