Hes Our Music took his Dundalk statistics to five wins and seven placings from fifteen tries at the Dowdallshill venue, by taking the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap under Conor Hoban.
Pat Flynn 's five-year-old was victorious on the corresponding card in 2012 and here off a career high mark of 90 he chased the clear pace setter Long Journey Home
At the two furlong pole it was apparent that Long Journey Home wasn't going to see it out and Hes Our Music soon took over. Ned's Indian and Akasaka finished off well but the 11/4 winner held them by half a length and a head.
It was hardly a surprise to hear Hoban say afterwards: "His record here speaks for itself. Pat and his team have done a good job keeping him sweet and he's held his form well.
"He probably deserves a bit of a break now." (AM & EM)
