Rory Mulligan had his claim reduced from 10lb to 7lb after partnering his third winner aboard Asian Daze in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at the Curragh.
The Johnny Murtagh-trained daughter of Frontiersman won twice as a juvenile including over this course and distance and struck the front just under two furlongs out.
The 9/1 chance soon asserted and kept on well inside the final furlong to score by three and a half lengths.
Topweight Sluice took the runner-up spot close home with the always prominent Neo Smart half-a-length further back in third.
Murtagh said, “That’s a pleasant surprise. She was sold to America earlier in the year and that didn’t happen.
“I think Rory’s 10lb was a big help, she’s not a big filly. I thought 85 was a high mark for her but the 10lb helped.
“He rode her the other morning and was very happy with her. He’s working very hard so it’s good for him to get down to 7lb now which should get him a few more opportunities.
“She will probably come back here Guineas weekend for a fillies handicap.
“She’s so genuine that I think ground doesn’t matter to her. She’s not big but she has a big heart and tries really hard.”
