Diarmuid Moloney and Brandy Harbour teamed up successfully for the second time to score in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase in Thurles.
The prominent racer took over from R'evelyn Pleasure before the fourth last and the pair had the race to themselves striding off the home bend.
Brandy Harbour got the better of the argument before the final fence, which he jumped well, and Moloney sent him on by six lengths on the run-in from a tiring R'evelyn Pleasure who ran a cracker in second at 40/1 on his first start for 201 days. Union Park was another five and a half lengths back in third at 7/1.
Paurick O'Connor, husband of trainer Grainne O'Connor, said: "He has improved over hurdles and over fences and Diarmuid is riding out of his skin. He is a great lad who is looking for outside rides. He is learning his trade and was brilliant on that horse.
"If he is sound and well, he will run somewhere over Christmas."
Brandy Harbour and Moloney also took the honours in a handicap hurdle at Limerick last month.
