Meow from the David Wachman stable justfied her price when coming in front of the Grangecon Stud Listed Stakes.

Johnny Murtagh who steered the 4/6 favourite victory made it a front running performance and kept on well close home to hold off the fast finishing Ladie’s Choice by a neck.

Winning trainer Wachman said afterwards: “He got a little tired on the run-in but Johnny [Murtagh] was happy enough with him and we’ll see what happens from here.”
