Maxux a name to note after impressive debut win

Joseph O'Brien's 8/13 favourite Sandy Creek was give every chance in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden but ultimately had no answer to her stablemate Maxux who made an impressive winning debut at 12/1.
Mikey Sheehy tracked the leaders on Spanish footballer's Alvaro Odriozola Arzallus chestnut and she came through to head the market leader over a furlong before clearing away in taking fashion to beat that rival by four and three quarter lengths.
Out of David Wachman's dual Group 3 winner Chrysanthemum, the winner cost 200,000 guineas as a yearling at Newmarket.
Assistant trainer Brendan Powell said: "She is very relaxed and chilled out at home. She is a typical Frankel. She has got an engine, will stay further and Mikey said he thinks she could be pretty smart.
"She loved the ground and will stay up to a mile-and-a-half no problem. We will try and get a bit of black type with her and she will be a nice broodmare prospect for her owner down the line. His big passion is breeding so hopefully this is a smart one for him."
