Maskoon reversed Limerick form with Table Rock as he took the last at Navan, the Pour Moi EBF Maiden, landing an on-course touch in the process having being backed from 7/1 to 9/2.

The son of Aqlaam finished three parts of length behind Table Rock when they finished second and third to Third Dimension at Limerick last month, but he managed to reserve the form today after making all.

Drawn on the rail in stall one, the chestnut colt broke smartly and quickly went a few lengths clear.

He went further clear over three furlongs out and he was soon ridden.

His lead was reduced over a furlong and half from home, but he kept on stoutly under pressure, holding off the challenge of Table Rock by half a length.

The runner-up, for Aidan & Joseph O'Brien, was returned the well-backed 7/4 favourite having opened at 3/1 this morning, touching 2/1 on-course. Photo Call who was as short as 7/4 this morning, drifted out to 10/3 at the off, and she finished a further four and three parts of a length back in third under Wayne Lordan for David Wachman.

Kevin Prendergast said afterwards: "He turned around form with Aidan's horse as he was beaten three quarters or a length by him the last day.

"He will go for a handicap now. He might go another two furlongs with a little bit of restraint.

"The ground was just perfect for him today."
