Bottom-weight Magnor Glory (5/1) was an emphatic winner of the McGrath Limestone Works Handicap Hurdle under Conor Maxwell.
The six-year-old, previously successful at Wexford last May, took up the running early in the back straight on the final circuit and drew clear after the last to beat 3/1 favourite The Dara Man by 17 lengths. Wouldn’t You Agree was a further three and a quarter lengths away in third.
Winning trainer Terence O’Brien said: “He promised to do it the last day in Fairyhouse (fifth over 2m4f) . He looked to be cruising at two miles, even two miles one, but he died a death over the last couple so probably two miles seems to be his thing.
"He might be okay over two and a half on that sort of ground, though. He’s good to jump (fences) but we’ll just tip away with him in handicap hurdles for the summer and we might find something for him at Galway."
