Fresh from his treble at Wexford yesterday, Ger Lyons registered another success in the finale at the Curragh when Future Generation bolted up under Johnny Murtagh.

Reappearing after a 176 day break, Future Generation was backed from 8/1 into 11/2 and the daughter of Hurricane Run beat President Lincoln convincingly.

Lyons said: "She is very straight-forward. She's a lovely filly and I hope she's a black-type filly. She won like a horse for the future and I'll see what Johnny made of her later."
