Trainer John Hassett and jockey John Cullen combined to win the Dawn Omega Milk Handicap Hurdle at Listowel today with Lough Ferrib

Lough Ferrib, a son of Accordion, progressed to lead at the second last flight, eventually proving six lengths too strong for Markey Cee

Co Clare based Hassett, whose biggest win came in the Group 1 Prix De L'Abbaye at Longchamp some years ago, later stated “Lough Ferrib disappointed slightly on the Flat on his last two starts and will now go for another handicap hurdle.”
