Life In The Park brought up a quick-fire double for Henry de Bromhead in race two at Tramore.

Mike O'Connor sent him on from flagfall and the pair had a healthy four-length advantage setting out on the final circuit of this extended 2m4f Adare Manor Opportunity Maiden Hurdle.

The lead was increased three but O'Connor then got a breather into his mount.

Life In The Park ran right away from Butty O Brien between the final two flights to score by 17 lengths. He was backed from 6/4 to odds-on this morning and was returned 4/6 favourite.

Butty O Brien could make no impression in second but was six and a half lengths ahead of Rose Of Kalanisi (7/1).

“He’d a lovely first run and I don’t know what happened at Leopardstown. Maybe as everyone was saying we weren’t right or he wasn’t right. He looked fine and seemed fine but was very disappointing," said de Bromhead.

“We gave him a break and he’s gown another inch or two. He’s a lovely big, imposing horse and you can see it’s all about chasing for him.

“He has a good pedigree and we had high hopes for him. He might just be a big baby. He still looked very green around there so he’ll improve plenty.

“We’ll see what mark he gets and he may go for the three-mile handicap hurdle at Punchestown.”

Rachael Blackmore steered Hide And Seek home for de Bromhead in the opener on the card.
