Adrian Maguire has never hidden his regard for Let Yourself Go and the Zaffaran gelding seems to be really finding his form now as he followed up a Ballinrobe win when landing the Deacy & Associates Novice Chase.

The 3/1 chance was soon in front and after the departure of Smack That at the first, Shane Hassett's mount led his three remaining rivals a merry dance with his fluent jumping. He came over to the stand's side in the straight and held off Montero by two and a half lengths.

Maguire and Hassett have been in flying form lately and the Co. Cork-based trainer said: "I'm delighted with that but I'm not surprised. He just idled from the last as it is a long way home here. Hopefully he'll stay healthy now and keep progressing."
