The going description at Leopardstown has been changed from good, good to firm in places and is now good to yielding following some heavy showers this morning.
Ger Lyons’ newcomer Moony Beams (8/1 into 4/1) has been backed in the opening 2-y-o maiden at 2.00 pm while stablemate Ebeneezer Perry (7/2 into 7/4) has been supported against the favourite Notre Belle Bete in the following contest at 2.30pm.
A good fifth over the course last weekend, Excelsius (10/1 into 5/1) has been popular in the concluding lady riders handicap at 5.30pm.
Tom Mullins’ charge is partnered by 7lb claimer Izzy Clifton, who has ridden five winners in Britain.
