Rohan's Pride has been doing a good job of getting the name of trainer Robert Honner out there and the Flighty Flyers Syndicate-owned She's A Leader did her bit when taking the Family Day August 18th Maiden Hurdle at Roscommon.
Try as he might, Deputy's Pass couldn't get to the Mark Bolger-ridden She's A Leader over the final two flights and a length and three parts separated them at the line.
Honner said: "We're just delighted to get the win. She had some very good runs to her name. I walked the track and I thought it was good ground.
"Mark said we just about got away with it.
"I'm delighted for the syndicate who are mostly family. My sister is over from Switzerland and she's involved.
"I'm not sure where she'll go now but she could go the mares novice route. We're just delighted to get a win to her name."
M.J. Ferris, rider of Chakisto (FR), trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free early, made good headway on outside on turn for home but no extra in the straight.
