Patrick Mullins didn't need to ask for anything extra from Korinthia in the closing stages as she took the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Pro/Am INH Flat Race at Limerick very much at her ease.

An easy-to-back 9/4 chance on her first outing since winning on debut at Wexford in August, the Willie Mullins-trained Korinthia confirmed Bettyville superiority over Amboyna beating that one by a length and a quarter on this occasion.

Mullins has care of the John O'Connor-bred Jukebox Jury filly for the Killeedy & Listowel Syndicate and it's clear that they have a nice youngster on their hands.

"She missed a bit of time after Wexford and wasn't ready for a Listed bumper at Gowran so we came here. She was plenty keen all the way, she has a good turn of foot and handles that good ground well, although I'm not sure about winter ground as she is quite a small mare," revealed the winning rider.

"We'll look to get some blacktype in a bumper somewhere before going jumping next year."
