King Shabra impresses at Fairyhouse

When it comes to King Shabra is seems safe to assume that we're dealing with a top of the ground horse, hardly surprising as he's out of a Strong Gale mare, and the Milan gelding in the words of his trainer, Oliver Brady, "annihilated them," in the penultimate race at Fairyhouse.
The well-backed 2/1 favourite put this contest to bed with a great leap two out, he followed that up with a similar effort over the last and Ryan Tracey's mount had all of twenty two lengths to spare over Rightdownthemiddle at the finish of the Fairyhouse Event Centre Maiden Hurdle.
Brady said of his charge, previously victorious in a Listowel bumper: "He'll probably go to Cheltenham in a couple of weeks time. He didn't grow when I wanted him to but he has now.
"I've always thought a lot of him – he's a good horse. He didn't just win today – he annihilated them." (GC & EM)
