Killaro Boy put his rivals in their place as he decisively took the two and a half mile novice chase at Fairyhouse.
Barry Browne settled him in second behind Capture The Drama and Andrew Ring before the pair jumped their way into the lead at the fifth fence.
Killaro Boy was clearly enjoying himself as he jumped well throughout. He had the opposition stretched after the third last as they all came off the bridle in pursuit.
The further Killaro went the further he won by as he stayed on strongly after the last to score by nine and a half lengths at 6/1.
The 5/1 joint favourites, Call It Magic and Crest came home second and third respectively.
Handler Adrian Murray said: "I was surprised that he won but turning for home I knew nothing was going to catch him. That's the best that he's jumped so far.
"He won his point-to-point on good ground but has not run on it since."
Barry Browne added: "He was a bit keen over the first few fences but nothing took me on and I was able to keep filling him up down the back. He's a very straightforward horse to ride."
