Colin Keane moved one winner ahead (82-81) of Bill Lee at the head of the Jockeys Championship today, as the three-time champion landed Dundalk's View Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium Handicap on Cursory Exam (11/2).
Racing with the pace, the son of Due Diligence eventually scored by a length and a half from Mads Black Eights
Winning trainer Ger O'Leary's assistant Adrian Joyce later said “ he can be keen but settled lovely. There was a nice pace on from the start and he switched off. He has a little bit of a kick when he settles early in his race over that trip.
"He started off a bit high in the ratings but got down to his level. He has done well, always runs thereabouts and picks up a race every year. He'll keep coming for the winter series, he's competitive and enjoys it. He's sound and is straightforward.”
He added “we'll have around 15 horses for the winter series. We have a few that we are just bringing back in now.
"The young girl at home, Emma, rides this lad out every day, so she will be delighted."
