Jazz Girl had an all the way victory in the mile and a quarter fillies’ handicap for trainer Andrew Oliver and jockey Chris Hayes.
The four-year-old, who was dropped three pounds in the handicap since running fourth at Leopardstown a week ago, looked to have a battle on her hands when Strandfield Lady came to join her in the final half furlong, but she kept on stoutly to score by half a length.
The winner had been as big as 15/2 in the morning and was returned at 5/1. Strandfield Lady went off 11/1 for Harry Rogers and Sam James while 6/1 shot Mamma Rosa took third for Pat Flynn and Danny Grant.
Punters who got involved in a gamble on Lady Bennett from 20/1 down to an SP of 5/1 had their fingers burned as she came in fourth a neck out of the placings.
Tyrone trainer Andrew Oliver said: “Chris gave her a great ride and she did it well. I was a bit worried beforehand about the ground, but it dried up and she has done it well from the front.
“We’ll give her a few weeks break and she’ll continue handicapping around that trip.” Mojita was the 5/2 favourite for Ken Condon and Shane Foley but the top weight could find no extra in the last furlong and finished sixth.
