Inishmot Prince further enhanced his great record on the polytrack when following up a win here last Friday by taking the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap at odds of 4/1.
The Tom McCourt-trained gelding was recording his eighth win at the venue, five of which have been gained over the minimum distance.
The five-year-old made headway between horses over a furlong out and kept on really well inside the final 100 yards under James Ryan to beat Dontspoilasale by a length and a quarter.
There was a gap of three and a quarter lengths back to Curraheen Princess in third.
The 5/2 favourite Cash Or Crypto lost many lengths when totally blowing the start and probably did well to finish sixth.
McCourt said, "He (Ryan) has a great record on him. Tonight was probably the best I've seen him, if anything it looks like he is getting better. He is probably travelling better than he has done too and has been in serious order at home.
"We'll leave him along until after Christmas. This doesn't start back until 12th January and I haven't gone through what is coming up for him. He loves it up here and is just in a great place at the minute."
When asked if he could be a horse for the UK all-weather championships, he commented: "You'd have to look at it on the trend he is on at the minute. He is probably looking at 80 (rating) now.
"There is a lot of prize money if he was to keep going up the weights."
