Independence Day is on a recovery mission in the Group Three Curragh Stakes at Headquarters on Saturday after being beaten at odds on in Listed company when last seen at Tipperary.
David Wachman 's Dansili colt created a big impression when scorching home by five lengths in a Down Royal maiden over five furlongs in June.
