Willie Mullins' Grangee was a very ready winner of the second split of the two mile maiden hurdle in Fairyhouse to give jockey Bryan Cooper a treble.
The 2/7 favourite was swinging away on the outer of Midnight It Is turning for home and picked him off jumping two out.
Cooper didn't have to get serious with Grangee as she drew clear by the final flight and won as she pleased by an eased-down five and a half lengths.
Roaring Porter didn't land a glove on the winner in second at 12/1 but was half a length in front of Midnight It Is (15/2).
Assistant trainer Patrick Mullins said: “Bryan was very happy. It was very straightforward, she jumped fantastic. She’s not the biggest but she has a good technique. She loved the ground.
“It’s the first time the owners have got to see her so they are delighted.
“It’s planning back from the Mares' Novice (at Cheltenham) I suppose. I don’t know where she will go next but it’s great to get her started like that.”
This was Grangee's hurdling debut having landed three Irish bumpers including a Grade 2 and a Grade 3.
Cooper's other successes came on Lieutenant Command (8/1) and Dunvegan (3/1).
