He may be just a handicapper but House Limit (first time cheek-pieces on) is paying his way and he landed his second success when coming out on top in the concluding Ratoath Handicap at Fairyhouse.
The slow to load Massabini made a bold bid to go a place better than when runner-up here a year ago.
However that Joseph O'Brien ridden pace-setter had to give way inside the last. The gambled-on Castle Guest (7s this morning into 11/4) also had no more to offer at that stage and he ended up in fourth place.
House Limit found more when required and he stayed on well 'at the death' to see off Windsor Pride by half a length.
"What can I say – he's a handicapper.
"The owner, Eugene Kavanagh is a tremendous man for me to have in the yard. He has the Gravediggers pub in Glasnevin and it does the best pint of Guinness in Ireland!," winning trainer John Larkin advertised in the aftermath. (AM & EM)
