Hoe Hoe built on the promise of her debut fourth placing here almost a month back when scoring in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Maiden under Fran Berry.
Berry did the steering on the Dylan Thomas filly for the Y Sakae Syndicate and Curragh trainer Takashi Kodama.
The second favourite (led a furlong and a half out before edging left) was always going to hold the 'finishers' with two lengths back to 50/1 chance Sharlanda in second. There was just a neck, a nose, a short head and a length to the third, fourth, fifth and sixth home, Kentucky Woman Shaiyzar Voice Of A Curlew and Palace Of Winds
Kodama commented: "She was very weak at two-years-old and I couldn't do much with her then.
"She's been getting stronger the last three months and her first run delighted me.
"She's still very green but I'm delighted with that. She can't run on soft ground so I'll keep her here and I think a mile and a half should be okay." (MG & EM)
