Ben Harvey continued his recent good form when linking up with Gordon Elliott to win the Tote Always SP Or Better Handicap Hurdle at Downpatrick.
On the mark with a double at Kilbeggan last Friday, the Dubliner returned to the winners' enclosure once again after steering the well backed 11/4f to success.
A smart handicapper on the flat for Hugo Palmer, the five-year-old made a pleasing handicap debut over flights when fourth last time, clearly benefiting from that experience.
Travelling well when challenging long-time leader I Don't Get It on the run to the final flight, the Elliott trained winner made full use of his flat speed to quicken up and go clear inside the final furlong.
Ben Harvey said: "The horse travelled really well and jumped. He had a lovely run in Kilbeggan a couple of weeks ago.
"Stepping up in trip a little bit here today suited him and I got a lovely toe into the race down to the last. When I gave him a squeeze, he quickened up the hill. I thought I won nicely.
"Hopefully he is a nice horse going forward.
"I just had to hit him a little flick there just to keep his mind on it. He did it well."
