Saludos produced a fine front running performance to land the I.N.H Stallion Owners EBF Novice Listed Hurdle making it a quick double for trainer Jessie Harrington.

Robert ‘Puppy’ Power’s mount repelled all challenges close home to post a one and a half length win over Asigh Pearl and stable-mate Coole River

A delighted Harrington said afterwards: “Robert said he didn’t want to go that fast but he was just taking him that fast.”

“He’s a brilliant jumper and Robert said he’s better going left handed.”

“He’s just a real galloper and we’ll probably bring him to Leopardstown over Christmas.”
