The opening race this evening at Navan, The Lynn Lodge Stud EBF Maiden was won by the Jim Gorman trained Rigid Rock under Kevin Manning.

Winning trainer Gorman said afterwards, "That was very apt as we bought the horse from Lynn Lodge Stud and they sponsored the race. He will have a little rest now as he has had 5 big runs now. So we'll see where to go next in 6 weeks time. He was very unlucky in the Marlborough Hill, Pat [Smullen] said he probably would have finished in the first four."
