Gimli's Rock scores for Treacy/Harrington

Jockey Tommy Treacy partnered his fifth winner of the season when steering Gimli's Rock to win the Harrison O'Dowd Solicitors Hurdle at Limerick today.

Gimli's Rock, the 7/4 second favourite, was third entering the straight but responded well to a strong drive to eventually get his head in front close home, with Treacy affording a triumphant punch of the air as he passed the post a length winner.

Winning trainer Jessica Harrington was not present for the win.
