Charles O'Brien saddled a one, three in the Elusive Pimpernel Maiden as his two Mastercraftsman fillies Iveagh Gardens and Supernatural did him proud at the Curragh, the pair split by another daughter of a recognised soft ground sire, Tango Time (by Danehill Dancer).

Iveagh Gardens, with Fran Berry up in the J P McManus silks, ran out an impressive four and a half length winner along the stand's rail from David Wachman's newcomer Tango Time with the same gap back to the third placed Supernatural.

The well-backed favourite Rousayan was well positioned through the contest but he folded into eleventh place.

"She had a good run last year and I thought she'd done well from two to three.

"She does need that ground though and I don't really know where we'll go next.

"It's hard for three-year-old sprinters taking on older horses.

"There's a vague possibility that she might go for the Guineas Trial at Leopardstown next week but we'll have to see how she comes out of this first," explained O'Brien.

He added: "I was really pleased with the third horse as she had serious colic surgery and has come back well."

W.J. Lee, rider of Love The Feeling trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount bunny-hopped out of stalls, jinked right and unseated.

The Stewards fined John Joseph Murphy €50 for breach of Rule 194 (ii) (a) by failing to declare to Horse Racing Ireland a distinguishing cap for the owner's colours on Wood Violet in this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Rousayan, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
