Jordan Gainford made it two from two at Limerick this afternoon when classy bumper performer Familiar Dreams added a Grade 3 prize to her CV in the Shannon Spray Novice Hurdle at Limerick.

The Postponed mare carried the colours of Noreen Galvin for the first time this afternoon and made the perfect start for her new owner in the two-mile-six contest.

Gainford settled behind the leaders on the 11/1 shot and she travelled strongly to lead going to the second last.

Having beat off the challenge of Barnahash Primrose before the final flight she stayed on stoutly on the run-in to repel the late finish of Grainne A Chroi by two-and-a-quarter lengths.

Familiar Dreams was adding to four bumper wins, including a Grade 3 contest, a Flat maiden success and her maiden hurdle victory at Punchestown last month.

"She is obviously a high-class filly but her jumping was the main thing today,” said Gainford.

“She could have done with a lead for longer but stepped forward lovely from her previous run, although wasn't doing a whole pile in front."
