Cappucimix made the best way home to land a good pot in the Grade B handicap chase at Killarney.
The grey gelding was on good terms with himself at the head of affairs in this two mile one race and began to forge on from his rivals after the second last.
He jumped the last well and clear of Everlastingpromise who could make no inroads in second.
The 10/1 shot bounded home in the sweltering temperatures to win by six lengths. He gave trainer Henry de Bromhead and jockey Jordan Gainford doubles on the card.
Gambled-on Everlastingpromise finished second at 11/2 from 14/1 and was four and a quarter lengths clear of Cappucimix's stablemate, Le Musigny the 7/2 favourite.
Leac An Scail (partnered by Rachael Blackmore) took the opener for de Bromhead while Gainford won the preceding race on the card on Swordsman for Denise Foster.
Jordan Gainford said: “He loved the ground and Henry was confident of a good run when I was speaking to him earlier.
“He’s been in good company in handicaps and it’s great to ride a winner like this especially for Robcour.”
Co Waterford based de Bromhead saddled five runners in this race - Arvico Bleu (seventh), Raya Time (fell at first) and Zarkareva (unseated rider two out).
