Future looking bright for Evidence
False Evidence completed his return from injury when breaking his duck in the opening maiden hurdle at Leopardstown.
Jessica Harrington 's charge has had two runs this season since returning from a two-and-a-half year break and showed he is fighting fit with a convincing success.
Andrew Leigh sent his mount to the front after the third last and he kicked clear of the field turning for home.
Well supported 11/10 favourite King Of The Refs tried to throw down a challenge on the run-in but could only get within a length-and-a-half of the winner.
""We've got him back and it's great as he had two-and-a-half years off. I'm delighted with him," said Harrington.
"He was coming back to himself on his last two runs and was unlucky not to finish closer at Naas last time when a horse fell in front of him.
"The ground was a little bit better today and he appreciated that. Punchestown is the aim with him and we'll probably step him up to three miles.
"He could probably run at Fairyhouse before that and then he'll go on to jump fences next season."
