The going at Listowel this afternoon for the penultimate day six of the Harvest Festival meeting is described as yielding to soft following 4mm of rain overnight.

Clerk of the Course Paul Moloney said, “We have four to five yards of fresh ground on the hurdle track today the whole way around. Our chase track is fully open today and is considerably better on the middle to outer of the chase line.

“We had 4mm of rain overnight and the going is yielding to soft.

“There is the possibility of a couple of isolated showers today and from today until racing tomorrow, Met Eireann forecast the possibility of two to 4mm of rain.”

The first on an eight-race card at Listowel gets underway at 1.35pm with the featured Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle the second race on the card at 2.05.

Friday evening racing returns to Dundalk with the first on an eight-race card beginning at 4.50pm.

Aidan O’Brien has booked Colin Keane for the odds-on Alabama in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race, while Natalia Lupini and Billy Lee have prospects of a double in the following two races with Nikki Swango and Talia
