Frenetic stamped her class all over the Listed First Flier Stakes at the Curragh with a devastating display of speed.
Ger Lyons' filly went off 10/11 favourite on the back of a Navan maiden victory which was franked when the runner-up subsequently finished third in the Group 3 Albany at Royal Ascot.
The daughter of Kodiac blasted away under Colin Keane from stall seven and raced in isolation on the stands'-side rail. The remaining five runners came down the centre of the track for this five-furlong dash.
She held the overall lead from Eastern Voice who took the field along in the middle.
She held a definite lead, and was still going best approaching the final furlong, before stretching right away to win eased down by five lengths. Mooneista was best of the rest at 11/1.
Ger Lyons said: “She’s the fastest we have and was our Queen Mary horse if we had one.
“The plan was to go to Naas (for the Group 3 Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Fillies’ Sprint Stakes) next week with her and we held an entry here just to see how the race panned out.
“I said to Colin going out to be careful with the wind like that as she’s light and his biggest problem was going to be keeping her on the ground.
“I’ll hold an entry next Saturday. I don’t want to abuse her but she’s a two-year-old written all over her and if she’s fit and well will go to Naas next Saturday.
“Ultimately we will work back from the Cheveley Park. That will be my long term plan.”
