Even Song brought up plenty of bets when staying to strongly to claim the honours in the juvenile fillies' maiden over a mile in Leopardstown.
Aidan O'Brien 's charge was sent off the 9/10 favourite, on the back of a promising debut effort last weekend on the polytrack at Dundalk which saw her finish well for third.
She was drawn 11 of 13 in today's contest but broke nicely to race in mid-division. Nudge and Runmhar had matters to themselves in front, however, Colm O'Donoghue pushed Even Song into third on the outside as they entered the straight.
Even Song got into full stride a furlong and a half and from home and was ridden to hit the front just outside the furlong marker.
The daughter of Mastercraftsman kept on well to beat Nudge (15/8) into second by three and a half lengths. Runmhar (16/1) came in a length and a half away in third on her debut for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning.
Colm O'Donoghue said: "She's a good filly and is hard to fault. I had to come wide to challenge and they got two lengths on me turning in but she picked them off well. She's an Oaks filly for sure."
