There was a J P McManus one two in the Listed Download The BoyleSports App Mares Chase at Fairyhouse with Elimay (8/15) leading home Demi Plie (50/1).
The successful grey, a little unfortunate when second to stable companion Colreevy at Cheltenham, eventually got the best of it here by a length and a quarter for Willie Mullins and Mark Walsh.
Back in trip, Cheltenham winner Mount Ida was tapped for ‘toe’ in the straight after ‘missing’ three out.
However she stormed home for third, a length and a quarter back.
“It was hard work and she might have been feeling the effects of Cheltenham but she got the job done anyway so that was nice,” said Mullins.
“We'll have a look at Punchestown but I think she's probably done enough for the season. We'll see how she comes out of this.
“I just said to Mark there that on dryer ground she probably wants three miles.”
