Previous course knowledge could stand Eight Till Late in good stead for the BoyleSports Handicap Chase at Sligo on Wednesday evening.
Peter Casey 's charge won a handicap hurdle around these tight bends last month and, prior to that, won a novice chase at Clonmel.
He handles cut in the ground and makes plenty of appeal against his six rivals. Roconga has faced some tough tasks in novice chases won by the likes of Peregrine Run and Modem, but he can get back to winning ways in the Darcy Contract Cleaning Services Beginners Chase.
The seven-year-old gelding is rated 130 over fences and if he performs to that level, it should be good enough.
The Sligo Park Hotel Handicap Chase isn't a strong race at all, so perhaps top weight Ballyfinboy can make his presence felt as a former course-and-distance winner.
Penny Jane was no match for long-odds-on-favourite Miss Sapphire over hurdles in Limerick but could find conditions more to her liking in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase.
After she won her bumper over an extended two miles and one furlong at Downpatrick in May, Gordon Elliott said she wanted a bit further so two miles and five furlongs should be well within her compass here.
Elliott's Free Of Charge was a beaten favourite when third at Uttoxeter but might get compensation in the Glasshouse Hotel Handicap Chase.
Veteran Tomcoole Lad is worth a second glance down at the bottom of the weights in this contest after an encouraging fourth-placed effort at Limerick, having been off track for six months. Caniwillyegiveme was headed on the line in his first crack at fences in Wexford last month, which gives him a clear opportunity in the Kilcawley Construction Rated Chase.
The ground could also suit this former point-to-point winner better than some of his rivals.
