Trainer/jockey Danny Howard caused a 16/1 upset when steering his Duty Dance to win the Festival Free Upgrade Offer Ends Today Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown today, and later described his relationship with the mare as being one of 'love/hate'.
Howard sent the daughter of Mr Combustible to the front on the turn for home and from the pair weren't headed, eventually beating Sarah Battle by a length and a half.
Afterwards Howard, who has “a couple of point to pointers and a few more horses for the track at present”, stated “the last day I thought she'd do what she did today but she was a bit disappointing.
“We've a bit of a love-hate relationship and I've had quite a few falls from her!”
