The Festival Any Day Flexi-Ticket Hurdle at Punchestown today, which was won by the Eddie Harty trained Dressedtothenines was unfortunately marred by the fatal fall of Grade 2 winning chaser Apt Approach Mount Colah made the running in the five runner race with Dressedtothenines, under a well judged ride from Niall 'Sippers' Madden, settled behind the leader in second. Apt Approach, a seven time winner and winner of last season's Grade 2 Kinloch Brae Chase at Thurles, was racing in third place when taking a fatal fall at the fourth last flight.

Early in the home straight, Dressedtothenines moved past Mount Colah and the mare stayed on well from there for an 11 lengths win.

Afterwards Harty reported “I'm sorry for Willie (Mullins, trainer of Apt Approach) and it's not a nice way to win.

“Dressedtothenines is a nice mare and seems to be back to herself. I spotted this race a while ago and if we can find something similar it would be great - she ran well at Clonmel the last day where she came up against a very good mare (Annie Power).”
