Luke McAteer steered home another winner with Dearg Jazz in the nursery at the Curragh.
The 14/1 chance was joined in the final furlong by Zozimus but found that big more to prevail by a short head as they flashed past the winning post.
The winner had to survive a stewards enquiry as she edged left and slightly carried the runner-up with her.
Zozimus was returned at 15/2 and was a length and three quarter ahead of third-placed Equilove (5/1). Moonhall Girl completed the placings in fourth at 15/2.
James Barrett said: “She took a couple of runs to find her feet and she ran a real nice race in Cork the last day.
“She’s still a bit green but today we said we’d make plenty of use of her as ideally she probably wants further.
“He’s one of the riders in form and gave her a great ride. I thought she was beat twice and she put her head down and kept at it.”
This was McAteer's seventh winner from his last 29 rides.
At the request of the Stewards, R.P. Cleary, rider of No Nay Forever trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount suffered an injury and fell independently of any other horse. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.
